St. Mary Portage has an annual festival called BEST FEST that is held the weekend before Memorial Day each year. It is a community social event as well as our parish's largest fundraiser. The goal of this festival is to promote a sense of community, family, and fellowship throughout Portage. Many volunteers are needed to assist in different areas of the festival. You can be sure that you will have no trouble finding a spot to lend a hand. This event provides a place where everyone can gather, meet old and new friends and have fun.

5K Fun Run & Walk

Every year, St. Mary OTIC hosts the Annual 5K Fun Run & Walk. This loved event is held on the Saturday morning of Best Fest and is open to the general public. If you are interested in participating, please complete the registration by clicking on the image below.
This year there is a Kids Fun Run and a T-Shirt design contest.  Links for the forms are below.

IMPORTANT information about raffle tickets

It is more important now than ever to make sure that we do our part to make Best Fest as much of a success as it can be. We will still be hosting the coveted Raffle Drawing with prizes boasted up to $5000! As usual, parishioners are able to pick up their raffle tickets starting April 29th after weekend Masses and the Parish Center.
